About Me

CreweFit

If you’d told me years ago that I’d be helping other women feel confident in the gym, I wouldn’t have believed you.

Growing up, I avoided anything to do with fitness. School sports? Definitely not my thing — I’d often find a way to sit them out. It just never felt like something I enjoyed or belonged in.

It wasn’t until after university, when I started working, that I first joined a gym. At the time, it was more of a “I should probably do this” decision than something I loved. I worked with a trainer, tried a few classes, and slowly started to build confidence — but it still hadn’t quite clicked.

That changed in 2013 when I moved to Dallas, Texas.

I joined an outdoor fitness community called Camp Gladiator (not as scary as it sounds!), and everything shifted. It wasn’t the workouts alone — it was the people, the support, and the sense of belonging. For the first time, fitness felt enjoyable and something I genuinely wanted to be part of.

I started taking part in their fitness games, not to win, but because I found myself asking, “how can I get a little bit better?” That mindset — focusing on progress and proving to myself what I’m capable of — still drives me today.

Since then, I’ve taken on challenges like 5km runs, Tough Mudders, a Spartan Sprint, and two Hyrox events. Right now, I’m training for a 10km and working towards unassisted pull-ups.

But that’s my motivation.

With a background in corporate HR and Leadership Development, I understand that what drives one person won’t drive another. That’s why I take the time to really get to know my clients — what matters to you, what feels important, and what you want to achieve.

For some, that’s a specific goal.

For others, it’s simply building confidence or feeling comfortable in the gym.

All of it matters.

I also know how busy life can feel — which is why I see fitness as something different. Not something you have to do, but something you get to do. An hour to switch off, move your body, and focus on yourself.

My approach is simple: no diet culture, no quick fixes, no pressure to be perfect — just consistent, supportive progress.

Becoming a personal trainer had been on my mind for years, and it was my husband, Ben, who gave me the push I needed by gifting me the first stage of my training. I loved it, went on to qualify fully, and have since added kettlebell certification and further training in stretching and mobility.

Outside of the gym, you might hear the occasional “y’all” from my Texas days, and there’s usually country music not far away. I’m also a big dog person — I have a German Shepherd mix and a Great Dane mix, and I wouldn’t be without them.

If you’re looking for someone who understands what it feels like to start from scratch — and will support you every step of the way — I’d love to hear from you.
